August: Eddie Garcia

Eddie Garcia! Eddie was born in Puerto Rico and moved to Texas when he was around 5. He is currently working as a Mechanical Engineer in Lewisville and likes eating out, going to the movies, hanging out with friends, and building Lego sets. What he likes about being a volunteer at Second Chance SPCA is spending time with all the amazing dogs and cats at the shelter. He also enjoys how nice and helpful everyone is at the shelter. “Anytime I have a question about how to handle a certain situation with a dog or cat Melissa, Megan, and Carmen are always willing to help and answer my questions. The other volunteers are also super helpful with each other and are always giving good advice about work, school, and more.” We couldn’t run our shelter without the help of awesome volunteers like Eddie. Thank you Eddie for all you do for SCSPCA!
