… Maya usually comes in after school and helps with all of the closing duties.. Whenever she has time, Maya also fills up kongs with treats for the dogs to have the next day. 

Maya adopted her dog, Simba, from the SPCA in Dallas 7 years ago. They like to go on hikes together and take naps. She currently works at Starbucks and is planning on going to college this year.

Maya really enjoys playing with the dogs, taking them on walks, and being able to help make them more comfortable while they stay at Second Chance!
