When Persephone came to Second Chance in 2016, she was a little bit of a mess. After a new haircut and some TLC, she proved to be an absolutely amazing girl! She was quickly scooped up and has spent almost 2 years now in the most loving home. Going by Trixie nowadays, her family says she is “definitely a lapdog but also playful and constantly makes us laugh.” Her best friend “Mr. Monkey” goes everywhere with her, and she loves to travel and snack on carrots! Her parents also reported, “She has been a true gift of love to us and we’re blessed to have found each other. Thank you Second Chance!”
